-The religion of the Ancient Greek is commonly thought of today as Greek mythology. Greek mythology is the collective knowledge, belief and tradition about the nature of the gods, the world, and humans relationship with both.
-The Greek believed in many gods who were similar to humans, except for they were very powerful and immortal. The Greek told stories about all of the happenings to those gods. The gods can be thought of almost as characters, and the stories as a TV show. The stories told many different and dramatic situations the gods ended up in. They spoke of love, heartbreak, life, and death.
-Greek gods you may still have heard of today include Zeus, the king, Hades. God of the underworld, Poseidon, god of the sea, Athena goddess of wisdom and warfare, Aphrodite god of love, Demeter goddess of agriculture, and Hestia, goddess of the hearth.
- Recent stories and movies today are still based off of some Greek myths. An example of this is Beauty and the beast, based on the life and love of a goddess named Psyche., and Hercules, which follows the life of a son of a Greek god.

In Early Greece, the Greeks grew only enough food to survive. They did not need many slaves because the rocky terrain provided small farms that did require extensive labor.
Greece then went through a change after the wars. They had expanded to more fertile land, and they now had slaves to help the large farms. They started to do commercial farming and not just subsistence. There were many slaves coming in from Greece from all areas of the Mediterranean. These countries along the Mediterranean also traded with the Greeks.
The Greeks main products were Wine, Olives, and Fruit.

The main focuses of Greek art are pottery, architecture, sculpture, and paintings. One of their major achievements in Architecture is the column. These help them build great long lasting buildings such as the Parthenon, the Temple of Zeus, and the Oracle of Delphi.
Another thing the Greeks invented was theater. They were the first to make organized plays to entertain a crowd of people or to please the gods. The plays were specifically design to please the god Dionysus who was the god of theater.
Another great achievement was sculpture. The sculpture usually depicted a god, a man, or a woman. The sculptures were made from usually marble, limestone, and clay.
